Technology and how it has transformed due to technological innovations

Technological innovations doesn’t mean only electronics and internet and a good use of them, but the whole set of innovations over time combined that makes daily life more convenient and enjoyable for everyone. I consider that technology has been mandatory for human existance. It's not possible to claim that it wasn't, no matter how advanced the technology was at its proved time, our greatest benefactor in the construction of the new world and the maintainment of the old world up to decades of years ago.
„With the passage of time, technology has become very vital to human beings and it has gotten to the point where most people fall asleep with their phone or tablet next to them.” - www.businessdictionary.com
We are exposed to technology before we are even aware that we are human beings by the use of ultrasounds while inside the womb. We use technology everywhere, we use it in construction, transport, manufacturing, medicine, at home, at work and even preparing the food we eat. Nowadays, technology innovation from the recent makes it possible for us to find tons of information in just a few seconds, to communicate with people across the globe, to save lives by doing some of the world's toughest surgeries, the mass production of factory products such as gadgets, tools and furniture, we can travel thousands of miles in just a few hours and we’re building buildings tall up to the clouds, heights of hundreds of meters. All of these are possible thanks to the technology innovations that have taken place over hundreds of years, even though we know that the past hundred years gave us the most innovations in history, but we also know that those innovations couldn’t have existed without a base, a base built up in hundreds of years of ideas and development.
Innovation it is spreading worldwide and it keeps us connected to any country in the world, to any information from and about each country, it keeps us connected with the whole globe, we can do things that back in history were seen as impossible to happen ideas.

But throughout the history, has technology always advanced so fast?
„Modern humans are estimated to be about 200,000 years old, but it seems that 99 percent of technological progress has occurred in the last 10,000 years. What were we doing before that?” - www.slate.com
Our current civilization is the most advanced breed in terms of technology, and in the same time this means that advancing more and more is easier than ever.
We discovered the wheel about 4,000 years ago. This allowed us to travel fast and transfer products and humans between regions. In short, we spent a lot of time in a „try and fail” mode to find the right places to live and the right things to eat. Given the short life spans and the hard ways to communicate, ideas could not get transmitted. As we discovered ways to keep us warm and bright at night, got spare time due to agriculture we started putting our brains to a good use.
Innovation requires a lot of trial and error and the ability to build on previous results. Until a few thousand years ago, these experiments were local, and there was little we could learn from others' experiments. Thus, a guy in Ethiopia might have been trying to master fire control even 5,000 years after a guy in Sweden has already mastered it. There was no easy way to transfer ideas given the lack of wheel (to enable quick movement), writing systems, broadcast communication, etc. The population was also too low to improve the odds of experimentation. Lastly, we were too focused on survival to afford us the time to innovate. Agriculture liberated us from the focus on the daily search for food. Hundreds of years after the wheel and fire were discovered, the innovations wer a lot easier but still can’t be compared with the possibilities of our civilization.
History tells us that one technological innovation leads to another ten innovations, the more we advance in technology, the wider our perspective to advance becomes and it always been like that, that’s the main reason why our modern world is so far away than in any period of time that people lived on. Every one of our inventions is based on thousands of other inventions that happened through the history and the inventions that follow will be based on what we invent now.
